The workbench itself
I am currently replacing an old wooden drawer cabinet (which I abused as workbench by removing the lower two drawers and keeping only the top one) by a real table, custom-built and fitting my needs.
At the moment, the new table stands where it shall be and has a row of power outlets, some switchable, some always on as soon as the main power switch is on. It also features a shelf for power and measurement equipment, a builtin neon lamp, and a solder fume sucker.
