Status: This is a project in planning state. Currently, these are just thoughts and ideas noted for future usage -- once I have time and/or materials needed for this. If you want to help me with the materials issues, you can check the WishList for an overview what I am missing. Usually, though, the missing resource is just time.

An entertaining thing: Take normal shoes and include a line of LED dot matrix displays in the soles in the back of the shoes. Then make it display animated text or imagery. The ultimate disco gimmick.

"Content" could be also loaded into the shoes by e.g. a Bluetooth connection. One then could write an application for mobile phones to create text messages to upload into the shoes, or distribute ready-made data packets that a mobile phone could receive as short message, and forward through Bluetooth to the display.
