Description
This is a memo for using the virtual machine emulator Qemu on FreeBSD, 9-CURRENT in my case.
General setup
The following programs from the ports collection are required for this setup, and I have installed and tested them in the given versions:
emulators/qemu (qemu-0.10.6_3) emulators/kqemu-kmod-devel (kqemu-kmod-devel-1.4.0.p1_3) net/vde2 (vde2-2.1.6)
For now, here's only a batch of scripts in the attachments - more hints and info for the guest operating systems will follow...
