Advantech PCM-8520
The PCM-8520 embedded PC can hold (and use) 128 MBytes of RAM (on SO-DIMM), and has a CF card slot to hold the 128 MB used as a system disk. This system is available from Advantech, the specifications are also on the web. These parts were bought in May 2002 for about 600 Euro, 128 MB of RAM (60 EUR), and a 128 MB CF card at 89 Euro. For the power needs of this PC (5V for all the logics, 12V for peripheral devices), there is a specialized power supply.
